Meet MSP Airport’s New Member

new therapy cat at airport

Catching connecting flights can be stressful for most people. But if you happen to be at the Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport, you might want to meet its new member whose job is to calm people’s stress.

Stitches is the first of her kind at MSP. She’s an 11-year-old Tabico cat that loves getting neck scratches! Stitches has been a therapy cat for three years now, and has been registered through Pet Partners. Her impressive resume shows that she has visited nursing homes.

If you check MSP Airport’s Twitter, you’ll find a post about Stitches and how delighted people are with her presence!

MSP’s Animal Ambassador program welcomed 37 new therapy animals since January, and the program continues to grow.
