Abandoned Pet Pig on the Way to Recovery

pot bellied pig

Cupcake is an obese Potbellied Pig that was abandoned and discovered in a yard of a Las Vegas home in a wired dog crate under the heat. She was severely overweight and could hardly move. As of now, Cupcake is recovering from the suffering caused by her negligent owners. She also has lost weight and continues to drop excess pounds.

The Animal Foundation, a nonprofit animal shelter and low-cost vet clinic in Clark County, Nevada, said through a Facebook post, “She will need a caring owner who will help her on her weight loss journey and show her the love she deserves.” Pot Bellied pigs are smart and affectionate pets. If you are interested in adopting Cupcake, you can visit The Animal Foundation’s website for inquiries.
