Fundraising Event to Benefit Service Dogs

fundraising event

The Dog Days 5k and 2 Mile Walk is a fundraising event that was held on June 15, 2019.

This special day was dedicated to helping Hub City Service Dogs, a non-profit organization in Hattiesburg that has been training service animals and providing them to people with disabilities since 2013.

350 people participated in the event, which also included a dog pageant where the dogs could be awarded for being the best dressed, the coolest dog, the most handsome hound, and more.

Angela Davis-Morris, the race director, said that she was completely overwhelmed by the support given by their sponsors and volunteers. The event was able to raise about $20,000.
